C Tech Annual Meeting | “Where AI Meets X”
Great to have a team presence at the BC Tech Annual Meeting, where multiple speakers came together to explore how AI is transforming industries.
Our CTO, Ir Dr Joseph So, attended on behalf of Smart Location Tech and shared in the discussions around building new AI-powered applications across sectors including Banking, Forestry, Health, and Shipbuilding.
A huge takeaway from the event: the potential of AI is clearly recognized—especially here in the province, where technology contributes 9.6% of GDP. We also noted other key insights, including AI’s role in cybersecurity and the importance of managing token usage costs.
